to Set a Solid Foundation

in my Christian Life

I feel so blessed to be in a place such as the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA). It is so good to be in a place where I can be grounded in the truth, deepen my fellowship with Christ and grow in life as a Christian. I grew up in a Christian family and got to know quite a bit about God and the truth in the Bible. Growing up I heard about the Full-Time Training especially when my brother came. When he was in the FTTA, I also got to come for about a week, which gave me a good taste of all the fellowship and the love of the brothers; everyone seemed to be so normal and approachable. That made me want to come for the entire two years.

Well, the day came when the Lord opened the way for me to come. Presently I am in my third term and I am enjoying it very much. It is such a great place to be to lay a good foundation in my experience of Christ in my Christian life, for the rest of my life. The training has helped me a lot to deal with difficulties that I had before I came. I appreciate the help and encouragement that we get from the trainers and teachers to have a personal time with the Lord every morning. It is a great help to start the day with the Lord. Spending time in the morning to fellowship with the Lord, to pray to the Lord and to enjoy Him in the word really gives me the energy to go on every day in my life. I love the Lord Jesus very much and I praise Him for such a place as this to deepen the roots of my personal fellowship with the Lord and to be equipped with the Word. I am encouraged by the Training and by the brothers and sisters to go on in the Lord, to love Him with my whole being and to serve Him. I realize that the joy of living, really, is just to live for the Lord, doing everything for Him. And this is the best place to be to lay the foundation for this living.
